 Member Development Trainee (MDT)
 Position offered:
 A three month training opportunity as a union trainee. Trainees must be available to participate from September 8 to November 28, 2008. Application deadline: 3:00 pm May 15, 2008.
 - Positions in all of OPSEU's regions. Actual locations to be determined.
 - Positions in OPSEU head office
 If successful at this stage, applicants will be asked to complete a second level online prescreen the week of May 28-June 3, 2008.
Training provided:
 Each successful applicant will be offered training, coaching and support during the course of the training period.
 Training will consist of negotiation and bargaining, servicing members and building union locals and will be scheduled throughout the period. Participants will be required to complete work assignments in the field, in class and on-line to indicate progression in the position.
